Inspired by 1960s backpacks, the ZIBELINE is a new large-format backpack from the Bleu de Chauffe Premium collection, made from vegetable-tanned leather. Practical yet stylish, it is the ideal companion for your urban travels, weekend getaways, or longer trips. It has plenty of space for all your personal belongings plus a 16-inch laptop. The ZIBELINE backpack has felt-lined leather straps that sit comfortably on your shoulders.
Its simple, clean design includes features taken from traditional hiking bags – like the small straps on the outside, originally designed to attach an icepick or hiking poles, but just as useful for an umbrella or other more urban accessories.
At the back on the outside is a zipped pocket, so you can keep your wallet, telephone, or anything else you need close at hand.
On the inside, a zipped pocket in cotton canvas – dated and signed by the artisan who made the bag – adds the finishing touch to the design.
Bleu de Chauffe has added a touch of class to this chic and contemporary range with a clasp engraved with a gun-barrel finish.
Every Bleu de Chauffe bag is made in France with passion by our artisan leathersmiths.
While 90% of the leather produced in the world is tanned using chrome or heavy-duty chemical agents, Bleu de Chauffe has decided to go against the grain, choosing the only alternative manufacturing process: vegetable tanning, a natural method which makes the leather more hard-wearing and gives it a natural look and feel, as well as a beautiful patina over the years.
