This swing jacket in thick-weave cotton khaki is a 1938 model, especially designed for motorcyclists in the French Army. This particular example was made between 1944 and 1947.
The design for this model was based on the Canadian-style three quarter-length reefer jacket.
The cloth has an ultra-dense weave, allowing almost no wind to penetrate.
"Raglan" sleeves.
The strap allows you to tighten up the collar, giving extra protection from the wind.
Its double-breasted buttons are asymmetrical, and are made from wood.

Production of this model, which dates back to 1938, stopped between 1940 and 1944. At the end of the war production began again, to finally come to an end at the beginning of the 50s.
