This year, we are adding to the Bleu de Chauffe collection with a range of lightweight coated canvas bags with designs that are as attractive and sturdy as they are lightweight and waterproof.

The Gibus musette bag is made from coated cotton canvas and vegetable-tanned leather. This medium-sized landscape model is ideal for carrying your essentials: it can easily accommodate a notebook, tablet or laptop up to 11 inches.

It has three practical outside pockets: two small side pockets for quick access and a back pocket with a magnetic top to keep your items safe. Inside, the zipped pocket is dated and signed by the craftsman who made the bag, ensuring the authenticity and handcrafted quality of each piece.

OUR NEW WAXED CANVAS ‘LUGGAGE LIGHT’ RANGE: SUPER STRONG, WATERPROOF BAGS.

This year, we are adding to the Bleu de Chauffe collection with a range of lightweight coated canvas bags with designs that are as attractive and sturdy as they are lightweight and waterproof.

This new coated cotton canvas is made in Scotland by Halley Stevensons, specialists in waxed canvas since 1864. We have chosen their 10:10 Wax C4 waxed canvas for our ‘Luggage Light’ collection – four times better waterproofing than their standard canvas. This canvas is not coated with oil, which makes it slightly dry to the touch. This lightweight, supple, strong material has a slightly ‘crazed’ look – a fine web of cracks that make it particularly stunning.
