Somewhere between a kit bag, a bindle, and a sailor’s duffel bag, the Baluchon has been given a makeover for our women’s range, with a new high-end vegetable-tanned leather. It can be carried tight across the chest, as a belt bag, or over the shoulder. The epitome of “roots chic” from Bleu de Chauffe. It has a practical YKK zip opening and has a zipped pocket inside, dated and signed by the artisans who made the bag.
The strap can be adjusted with the Bleu de Chauffe personalized buckle.

Today, more than 90% of leather in the world undergoes a chrome tanning process which uses heavy chemical components. Bleu de Chauffe has a different approach. Our leather is vegetable tanned which ensures better quality and more sustainable leather, a soft natural touch, and a patina which improves over the years.
