Our passion for professional or functional bags is at the heart of our brand. In the Musette bag, it's this evocation of quiet leisure, of moments of freedom in nature that appealed to us. It inspired us to create the Bleu de Chauffe version, adapted to today's urban explorations and the demands of our nomadic lifestyles.
The character of the fisherman's musette
Designed for gentle sport&leisure activities immersed in nature, the musette bag is by nature simple, lightweight, highly functional and resistant.
In our reinvention, we have taken care to retain all the characteristics of this classic. Its outdoor character is still there, and the flap pocket, so practical to close and open, is typical of the musette bag of yesteryear. We offer it in a range of sizes to suit all lifestyles.
Our choice to create our musette in suede leather, in very soft colors, gives it a real casual chic cachet. Important: this suede leather is water-resistant.
Highly functional with its large interior compartment and multiple pockets, the Bleu de Chauffe fisherman's musette bag is versatile and gender-neutral (unisex). A timeless basic!
Focus on suede leather
Our musette bags are available in water-repellent waxed canvas or suede leather. Soft as a baby's skin, this leather has been specially sanded and sandblasted, then treated to resist water.
Suede leather has a reputation for being difficult to maintain. But with us, not at all! It's easy to clean with mild soapy water. If your bag has been in the rain, you can wipe off the water with a damp cloth to avoid streaks, and leave to dry away from a source of heat. See our detailed suede leather care guide on this page.

All Bleu de Chauffe bags are entirely designed and manufactured in our workshop in St-Georges-de-Luzençon, at the foot of the Millau Viaduct. Your Fisherman's Musette has been made from A to Z by the same craftsman or craftswoman, whose final signature you'll find on the inside. We also offer a repair service, wherever possible.
