MEN'S LEATHER TRAVEL BAG
The "Hobo" is the new Bleu de Chauffe signature travel bag, for your short or long trips. Made from the highest quality vegetable-tanned stonewashed leather, it has one outside front compartment for a notebook, a camera, a phone, or a passport, and two side pockets.
The large zip opening ensures you can easily access your belongings. The Bleu de Chauffe label, sewn onto an inside cotton pocket, is signed and dated by the artisan who created the bag.
The leather is aged using a stonewashed/Distressed process, giving it a unique vintage style. The irregularities and aged appearance of the leather are the result of this finishing process. This aged and waxed process will give the leather a beautiful natural patina over time !

Today, more than 90% of leather in the world undergoes a chrome tanning process which uses heavy chemical components. Bleu de Chauffe has a different approach. Our leather is vegetable tanned which ensures better quality and more sustainable leather, a soft natural touch, and a patina which improves over the years.
Here the vegetable-tanned leather is intentionally aged using a stonewashed process, for a vintage, outdoor look. Then a wax-based treatment is applied to give it a slightly oily feel that's suited to outdoor conditions. It is also treated to provide good water resistance. The variations and sometimes irregular appearance of the leather result from this particular finish. This aged and waxed treatment will give the leather a beautiful natural patina over time.
