The Sauzon trucker sweater is a must-have item in the Bleu de Chauffe wardrobe. Inspired by our iconic Cancale sailor sweater, it echoes its authentic look and chic workwear style that defines its character. It is traditionally knitted in pearl stitch. Its hand-finished details make it as comfortable to wear as a sweatshirt.
The double-knit pearl rib stitch, hand-linked collar, original fabric (certified and labeled quality cotton) and hand-finished details make this a truly special piece.
Premium knit: our Sauzon trucker sweater is knitted in pearl rib, a dense and structured knit that is immediately noticeable to the touch. This exceptional knit gives the garment a natural drape, a perfect fit, and lasting comfort. Each piece is assembled using a demanding technique that guarantees fine, discreet, and particularly resistant seams.
Cut: Straight, slightly loose for optimal freedom of movement, while maintaining an elegant and relaxed look.
Collar: High collar with zip that can be worn open or closed depending on the desired look. For this trucker zip, we have selected a high-end product: a silver-finished brass zip from YKK's Excella® range. Fully polished, it glides smoothly and feels soft against the skin.
Sleeves: The sleeves are fitted and loose enough to allow freedom of movement. They end in a wide ribbed cuff to provide a snug fit at the wrists, similar to traditional sailor sweaters. The weave reveals a unique geometric detail to mark the transition between the sleeve and the ribbed cuff.
Cuff: The wide ribbed cuff at the waist ensures a perfect fit and features a geometric detail that highlights the transition between the sweater and the ribbed cuff.

For optimal comfort and a durable item that lasts throughout the seasons, Bleu de Chauffe sweaters are made from 100% OEKO-TEX® One certified cotton. The beaded rib knit prevents stretching and improves the shape (5% elasticity compared with 30% for a sweater knitted using a classic stitch). Its marine-grade weight (1.3kg/m2) makes it sturdy and long-lasting – a genuine heirloom piece.

We have developed and tested the Sauzon sweater to make sure it is cozy and warm at 18 degrees Celsius and below, and also comfortable, warm, and breathable for those cool summer evenings.

A silver-finish Excella® YKK brass zipper, fully polished for smooth gliding and a soft feel. A high-end detail that adds a functional touch in keeping with Sauzon's workwear DNA.
Care instructions: Machine wash at 30°C maximum, spin at low speed. Not suitable for tumble drying. Dry flat.
