In Dark Brown, the Diane L brings out the depth and natural character of its vegetable-tanned leather. This rich, understated shade complements everything from denim to tailored looks. Smooth-grained, supple and lightweight, the leather offers a refined balance of structure and ease for everyday wear.

The signature side horns and leather strap attachments support a shoulder strap inspired by traditional riding crops. This brown leather crossbody bag can be worn over the shoulder or across the body to suit the moment. An interior pocket made from GOTS-certified organic cotton keeps daily essentials close at hand.

Each Gibecière Diane L is crafted in our workshop in Saint-Georges-de-Luzençon, France. It reflects the spirit of Bleu de Chauffe: enduring design and French artisanal leather craftsmanship made for everyday life.

EXPERTISE FROM THE WORLD OF SADDLERY

Structured lines, bold curves and hard leather, assembled using saddle stitching – the Gibecière from Bleu de Chauffe is closer to the world of saddlery than that of leathercraft. A unique technique that gives this bag personality and charm in spades.

ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY TANNING

The leather used for the Gibecière (and for all other Bleu de Chauffe products) is tanned using vegetable tannins: a more natural method which is better for the environment and reduces the risk of allergic reactions.

GOTS CERTIFICATON

The canvas used for the Gibecière bag is made from GOTS certified organic cotton (Global Organic Textile Stan- dard). The fabric is produced in line with strict regulations: natural, non-GMO and pesticide-free, plant-based solutions, crop rotation, and safe working conditions.

HARD-WEARING

The Gibecière can be worn by all ages and handed down from generation to generation. With its timeless style, it is a classic item for the feminine wardrobe that will span seasons and last for years.
