WORK JACKET MADE IN FRANCE

The Gervaise work jacket. Finally, here is a women’s version of our men’s best-seller, the Germinal jacket. Reworked with a new, more fitted cut, this organic cotton bleu de chauffe is, of course, 100% made in France. 

The Gervaise is a timeless and stylish jacket that retains the workwear details that define a bleu de chauffe: straight, wide cut, shirt collar, three patch pockets, and one inside pocket (on the Gervaise this pocket has space for a smartphone). It can be worn over a t-shirt or something smarter. Its casual, elegant look makes it ideal for leisure and work, or for an evening out.

Sleeves buttoned at the wrist: easy to roll up if you have work to do, or just for the look!  

Manufacturing: 100% French, just like the genuine work overalls of that era.

Like our other bags and accessories, our Gervaise jackets are made entirely in France, from soft yet sturdy cotton canvas: organic cotton moleskin spun and woven in France, with a close weave that makes it super soft to the touch. The buttons are made from recycled plant-based resin, also manufactured in France. 

- The Gervaise jacket is made from 100% certified organic cotton moleskin. The cotton moleskin fabric is woven in France in the Vosges region.

- The pockets: three patch pockets on the front for your daily essentials, plus an inside pocket just the right size for a smartphone.

- Shirt collar: also known as a chevaliere collar.

- Button placket: four ergonomic buttons making it quick and easy to put on. The buttons come from an historic French factory. The buttons are made from a vegetable-based resin using recycled materials.
