MADE IN FRANCE T-SHIRT

Last year we brought you the Heavyweight Champion: a sturdy T-shirt with a heavy grammage, ideal for the cooler seasons. With the hemp cotton t-shirt Middleweight Champion, we are extending the range with a piece built for the summer – breathable, responsible, high-quality, and soft to the touch.

It’s all about balance, in design and in the ring, which is where this T-shirt gets its name, a reference to boxing. You need the right weight, the right cut, the right materials. For the MWC, we have decided to combine bio-sourced hemp and cotton. Because hemp, cultivated naturally with no irrigation, blends perfectly with organic cotton to create a fabric which is sturdy, breathable, and naturally suited to the summer heat.

Every element has been carefully thought through to ensure this T-shirt molds perfectly to the body while leaving you free to move. The fit is generous without being too loose, the collar slightly open, the drape bold and sharp.

The hemp cotton t-shirt Middle Weight Champion T-shirt is made at our workshop in the Aveyron region in the south-west of France, as are all our bags – and just like our bags, it is made to last a very, very long time.

For a height of 1.82 m and a weight of 79 kg, we recommend size L.

We chose hemp, an ancient, robust, and virtuous fiber, for the fabric of the “Middle Weight Champion” T-shirt. It is grown in France according to exemplary agricultural standards.

This unique, slightly mottled T-shirt combines the technical properties of hemp—antibacterial, temperature-regulating, and breathable—with the softness of organic cotton. The result is a sustainable, comfortable, and natural textile with a slightly mottled look.

The MWC T-shirt is made in France from 160 g/m² hemp-organic cotton jersey, which offers support and softness. It is dense enough to last and light enough for summer, making it the ideal everyday T-shirt.

Its slightly loose, natural cut suits all body types and summer temperatures.

We developed a ribbed hem made from hemp and organic cotton that gently reinforces the neckline, respecting the material and providing an elegant, durable finish.

Each piece reflects precise, responsible, and local craftsmanship, as symbolized by the Bleu de Chauffe label sewn into the collar.

Slight irregularities in this natural material emphasize its authentic character.

To craft the jersey for this sustainable T-shirt , we chose a blend of hemp and organic cotton — two complementary natural fibers. Grown in France without irrigation or chemicals, hemp is prized for its durability, breathability, and natural thermoregulating properties. Combined with organic cotton, it forms a fabric that’s soft, stable, and long-lasting, with a clean drape and strong shape retention. The result? A textured, slightly heathered knit with a unique, authentic look to every piece.

Like all Bleu de Chauffe products, the Middle Weight Champion T-shirt is proudly made in France, in our workshop in Saint-Georges-de-Luzençon, in the heart of the Aveyron region. Each tee-shirt is handcrafted with precision and a deep commitment to responsible manufacturing. Inside the collar, a discreet yet symbolic label carries our signature: a natural off-white base, deep blue branding, and a touch of red — a subtle nod to the French flag, and to a garment that’s designed, cut, and assembled locally.
