Inspired by the US Air Force helmet bag, the Paraglyde tote takes the design of this hard-wearing utilitarian bag and reworks it with a modern style. Its soft silhouette and spacious interior make it an everyday companion, whether in the city or the great outdoors.

The bag is designed to be carried two ways, in the hand by the sturdy saddlery leather handles for an assertive look, or comfortably over the shoulder by the long strap handles. A nod to 1980s utilitarian bags, where the idea of high-quality practicality was already emerging with a blend of hi-tech and fine materials.

Two gathered pockets on the front make it easy to access your essentials. The main compartment has a sliding closure for a wide, smooth opening, true to its workwear roots. 

Inside, you can add a laptop sleeve using the SNAP system, turning the Paraglyde tote into a veritable business bag – hi-tech and versatile, with a patterned appearance.

Each bag is signed and dated by hand by the artisan who made it, at our workshop in Saint-Georges-de-Luzençon.

The Paraglyde tote is made from double Ripstop nylon, developed especially for Bleu de Chauffe in collaboration with an Italian manufacturer renowned in the world of luxury fashion.

Originally used for paragliders and parachutes, this hi-tech fabric is uniquely lightweight, resistant to wear and tear, and naturally showerproof. The Ripstop weave creates a subtle grid pattern on the surface of the fabric, a sign of its strength.

The handles, reinforcing elements, and details are made from vegetable-tanned full-grain leather. This saddlery leather takes on an attractive patina over time, giving each piece its own unique character.
