The Gervaise work jacket is finally here — the women’s version of our best-selling men’s jacket, the Germinal. Redesigned with a more tailored fit, this cotton bleu de chauffe is, of course, still made 100% in France.
The Gervaise is a timeless and elegant jacket that retains the workwear codes that define the traditional bleu de chauffe: a straight, comfortable cut, a shirt collar, three patch pockets, and an inside pocket — large enough to hold a smartphone.
It can be worn over a T-shirt or layered with a more refined top. Its casual yet elegant look makes it a versatile piece, perfect for leisure time, work, or even an evening out.
Buttoned cuffs allow the sleeves to be easily rolled up, depending on the task at hand — or simply for style.
Made in France, just like the authentic work jackets of the past.
Like all our bags and accessories, our Gervaise jackets are entirely made in France. They are crafted from a fabric that is both supple and highly durable: a 310 g/m² cotton moleskin, whose tight weave provides an exceptionally soft, almost silky feel. The buttons are made from recycled plant-based resin, produced in France.
Fabric: The Gervaise jacket is made from 100% cotton moleskin. The fabric is woven in France, in the Vosges region.
Pockets: Three patch pockets on the front to carry all your daily essentials, along with an inside pocket perfectly sized to hold a smartphone.
Shirt collar: Also known as a chevalière collar, this style is directly inspired by traditional French work jackets.
Button placket: Four easy-to-handle buttons for quick fastening. The buttons are made from plant-based resin produced from recycled materials and come from a historic French button manufacturer.
