Crafted from our US Khaki Stonewashed Jeep canvas, it features an authentic character inspired by American military heritage. The stonewashed treatment gives the fabric immediate softness and a naturally aged appearance, creating a unique personality from the very first use. Vegetable-tanned brown leather reinforcements enhance its refined utilitarian style, while the wide adjustable shoulder strap ensures outstanding comfort throughout the day.

Inside, a removable zipped cotton pocket, dated and signed by the artisan who crafted the bag, keeps your essentials secure.

Take to the road, leave the city behind and rediscover the pull of open horizons. Developed exclusively for Bleu de Chauffe, our Kaki US Stonewashed canvas captures this desire to explore through the character of a material made to stand the test of time.

Inspired by American military fabrics and the utility covers of vintage Willys MB Jeeps, it draws its distinctive look from a world where every object serves a purpose. Dense and hard-wearing, the canvas gains a natural suppleness from its stonewash treatment, which brings subtle variations to the surface and creates the distinctive patina of a well-loved piece. This 649 g/m² cotton canvas combines strength, comfort and durability. Brown vegetable-tanned leather trims define the bag’s lines. With every journey, their patina deepens alongside that of the canvas, gradually telling a unique story.

A canvas full of character, a distinctive patina

Dyed, stonewashed and then waxed using a traditional process, our cotton canvas bears the subtle shades and character of its making. Its feel, texture and aged appearance tell the story of an authentic material that grows more beautiful with every journey.

The wax penetrates deep into the canvas to protect it from rain and may leave slight marks on other materials during the first few uses. This small amount of excess wax gradually wears off with use, while the canvas retains its protection and develops its distinctive patina. During this initial period, we simply recommend avoiding prolonged rubbing against light-coloured clothing.
