The Labor Day Bag is an emblematic piece of workwear apparel. This iconic tote is a nod to the famous bags used by paper-delivery boys in the United States at the beginning of the 20^thcentury, and is one of the centerpieces of our new collection. At Bleu de Chauffe we have taken a fresh look at this classic from the workwear wardrobe, giving it a more structured shape with high-quality, sturdy canvas and adding an elegant touch with the distinctive handles and Bleu de Chauffe silkscreen-printed logo.

A chic and indispensable item for everyday life, this hold-all is also our first ever vegan bag. Its distinctive feature is the 100% organic GOTS-certified hessian material, as sturdy as canvas, with a natural wax coating.

The SNAP system allows you to attach the Misha or Milan laptop sleeve inside your Labor Day bag to transform it into a business bag.

GOTS CERTIFICATION / ORGANIC AGRICULTURE

The canvas used for the Labor Day Tote is made from GOTS certified organic cotton (Global Organic Textile Standard). The fabric is produced in line with strict regulations: natural, plant-based solutions instead of pesticides, no GMO, crop rotation, and safe working conditions.

WATER RESISTANCE

The canvas used in the Labor Day Tote is strengthened and waterproofed using a vegetable-based coating method that uses beeswax and coconut oil, to avoid the use of pesticides and other pollutants. This waterproofing process ensures effective protection against the rain.

The Labor Day Tote is the epitome of local, priceless savoir-faire that meets the highest standards. Every piece is made in our workshop at Saint-Georges de Luzençon
