At Bleu de Chauffe, our passion for old-fashioned bags and craftsmanship inspires us to create unique pieces that combine tradition and modernity.
With the new Jamy, we pay homage to the spirit of the outdoor backpacks of the 50s and 60s, symbols of freedom and adventure. Inspired by this intrepid spirit, we've designed it to accompany today's adventurers and explorers on all their excursions, whether urban or wild.
We've made sure the Jamy Backpack is as comfortable as it is practical: its ergonomic, felt-lined shoulder straps offer optimum comfort, the roll-top closes with a magnet and its multiple external pockets keep your essentials close at hand.
With a 20L capacity, it offers plenty of room for your daily essentials, and its main compartment holds a laptop up to 15" with the addition of the Milan laptop sleeve.
Our backpack is made from our GOTS certified organic cotton canvas (the same canvas used for our fishing musettes). Durable and water repellent, it provides protection from the elements and the unexpected during outdoor activities.
As for the leather details and inserts, they are naturally dyed with vegetable tannins for greater durability and water resistance, eliminating any chemical treatment.
Since our creation more than 15 years ago, we've been committed to fair, rational production that respects people and the environment.
Each bag is made in our French workshop (in Saint-Georges-de-Luzençon) by the same leather craftsman from start to finish, without assembly line production.
The inside zippered pocket is signed and dated by the craftsman who made it.
