The leather used for the fisherman’s musette (and for all Bleu de Chauffe products) is tanned using plant-based tannins – a more natural and environmentally-friendly choice that reduces the risk of allergic reactions.
GOTS CERTIFICATION
The canvas used for the Musette is made from GOTS certified organic cotton (Global Organic Textile Standard). The fabric is produced in line with strict regulations: natural, plant-based solutions instead of pesticides, no GMO, crop rotation, and safe working conditions.

WATER RESISTANCE
The canvas used in the musette is strengthened and waterproofed using a vegetable-based coating method that uses beeswax and coconut oil, to avoid the use of pesticides and other pollutants. This waterproofing process ensures effective protection against the rain.
